Support the Restoration
Help us preserve a small part of French history
Saving the Pigeonnier began with one historic building in need of help, but the vision is growing into a wider journey of restoration — preserving the pigeonnier, the historic farmstead and the stories connected with this special place in South-West France.
Our first steps are to obtain appropriate professional advice, understand the condition and history of the buildings, and develop a careful plan for the work ahead.
As the project develops, support will help towards professional assessment, urgent stabilisation where needed, traditional materials, skilled craftsmanship and future stages of restoration.
We are currently putting in place a secure way to receive donations. Until that is ready, you can still support us by following the journey, sharing the website and helping others discover the story.
Thank you for joining us as we work to preserve a small part of French history for future generations.
The Journey Ahead
The restoration will not happen overnight. There will be surveys to undertake, decisions to make, permissions to obtain, craftspeople to find and funds to raise. There may be setbacks and there will certainly be challenges.
But restoration is a journey, and every journey begins with a first step.
As the project develops, we will continue to share what we learn, the decisions that are made and the progress of the restoration.
The first step has already been taken.
Join the Journey
We invite everyone who shares our interest in heritage, craftsmanship, rural life, faith and this beautiful part of France to follow the story and become part of the journey.
Preserve heritage. Support craftsmanship. Renew hope. Build for the future.
